Dan is a 28 year old life long athlete, physical therapist, health and fitness professional and self proclaimed meathead.   He competed on a division 1 level as a polevaulter at Rutgers University in college and went on to pick up strongman and crossfit after graduating.  Since then he has qualified for the North American Strongman National Championships 4 years in a row and in 2009 he won the national championship in the 175 pound class.  Dan has been involved in health, fitness and nutrition since he developed an obsession with it at the age of 12.

Dan holds a Docotorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ.  He also has a B.S. in exercise science with a minor in nutrition from Rutgers University.  Dan is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and holds certification in Crossfit (Level 1) the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and the Functional Movement Screen (Level 1).  He is currently working full time as a physical therapist at physiotherapy associates in Greenwood Village in Denver Colorado.  Dan practices what he preaches and believes that life is ripe for the taking and anyone with the right mindset can achieve greatness.
